Schlafen muss sein
Falls ihr es noch nicht wusstet: Welpen schlafen enorm viel. Und das brauchen sie auch, bei all den vielen Erlebnissen, die ein ganzer Tag so zu bieten hat. Als Welpe kam mir keine Gelegenheit und kein Ort ungelegen, um nicht ein kurzes Nickerchen einzulegen.

Für das Leben lernt man
Schon in der ersten Woche bei meinen Menschen und mit gerade mal zwölf Wochen begann für mich die Schule. Meine erste Stunde war ganz schön aufregend: Ich lernte, dass es ausser Möpsen noch andere Hunde gibt und dass man mit denen auch ganz prima spielen kann. Am Ende war ich sooo müde, dass ich schon auf dem Weg zum Auto eingeschlafen bin.
In the first week with my owners and at the age of twelve weeks dog obedience school already started. My first lesson was quite exciting: I learned that other dogs except for pugs existed and that it was fun to play with them. At the end I was sooo tired that I had fallen asleep on the way to the car immediately.

Prinzessin auf dem Teppich
Man kann nicht behaupten, dass ich nicht gerne ein kleiner Prinzessinnen-Mops war (bin).
Damit ich beim Spielen auf dem Parkett in der Wohnung nicht ausrutschen konnte, bekam ich als Welpe diesen standesgemässen Teppich geschenkt.

Zerreissen, Zerbeissen, Zerfetzen
Von Anfang an war "Papier zerfetzen" meine ganz grosse Leidenschaft. In Ermangelung von geeignetem Material griff ich als Welpe gerne mal auf meine Pipi-Auflage zurück. Mein Geschäft erledigte ich daneben und bevor mich jemand erwischen konnte zerfetzte ich die Auflage. Leider war ich schnell stubenrein und die herrliche Zerfetzungszeit erst mal vorbei.
Right from the beginning "paper frazzling" was my big passion. In the absence of suitable material I fell back on my pee-pad. I did my business just next to it and before anyone could catch me, I wasted my pad. Unfortunately, I soon have been house-trained and the fantastic frazzling time was over.

Welpenwochen
Hallo! Nach ein paar Tagen Urlaub melde ich mich zurück und habe gleich noch eine neue Idee mitgebracht: Die Welpenwochen. In den nächsten Tagen gibt es hier meine allerschönsten Kindheitserinerungen nebst Welpenfotos in Hülle und Fülle. Den Anfang macht ein Bild, das am Tag meiner Ankunft bei meinen Menschen entstanden ist.

The Lobster Pot
Mit diesen wunderbaren Postern von The Lobster Pot liebäugele ich schon seit geraumer Zeit. Die Vorlage lieferte übrigens ein britisches Propagandaposter aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Die neuen Botschaften gefallen mir jedoch weitaus besser.
